During the May North Michigan Park meeting, you graciously agreed to fix the lights and quality of Ward 5’s tennis courts. When will the lights be fixed? We sent petions, phone calls, emails, but still the matter is unresolved.

The ill-conceived homeless shelter on RIA was overwhelmingly opposed by the neighbors in the vicinity, whose concerns were ignored by the elected officials supposedly there to represent them, even though there were numerous obvious deficiencies in the site plans in terms of dismissed building codes, size, overcrowding, safe play spaces, and access. What will your administration do — in terms of site security, area cleanup, police response, etc. — to ensure this shelter won’t turn into a cancer on the community?
